The 32nd annual USS Gearing reunion was held in
Buffalo, New York from May 5 to 9, 2019
hosted by Marilyn and Jim Peiffer (SKSN 62-64).
Thank you Marilyn and Jim!!

Home base was the Buffalo Grand Hotel (the historic Adams Mark, recently renamed) on Church Street, downtown, with the historic ships USS The Sullivans (DD-537) and USS Little Rock (CLG-4) moored at the Naval and Military park nearby.

Side trips included visits to the Buffalo Transportation Pierce-Arrow Museum, ceremony and wreath laying while aboard The Sullivans to remember our departed Gearing shipmates, the hydroelectric Niagara Power Project tour, lunch at Waterstreet Landing on the Niagara River at Lewiston, NY, sightseeing of Niagara Falls, and a double decker bus tour of Buffalo.

The reunion was capped off by the USS Gearing Association's annual business meeting, the auction fundraiser and banquet.
